Troy and Tara

When Troy was diagnosed with having a brain tumour, and the date was set for his operation on 3rd October, 2019, the first thing he knew he had to do was to marry his fiancé, Tara, who was expecting the couple’s first child.

Celebrant and ACT Wish Leader, Karen Dahlstrom, arranged for a shortening of time with ACT Births Deaths and Marriages and this was granted on 24th September 2019.

A party in the park was arranged and on 1st October the couple, surrounded by their closest family and friends celebrated with a beautiful ceremony and champagne.
