Lela and Andrew

Tough but beautiful afternoon marrying this gorgeous couple who should have their whole lives in front of them. Sadly Lela, age 31, won’t get to realise her dreams as she has Stage IV Bowel Cancer. Through My Wedding Wish, we were able to grant her wish, to marry the love of her life.

Celebrant Gail Cremen had to make an urgent application so the couple could get married without the 30 days’ notice normally required. Lela and Andrew were planning a luncheon ceremony with 20 family and friends, but due to the current Covid situation there was just the celebrant, the couple, and their sisters as witnesses. It was still a very special occasion and the ceremony was streamed to other guests.
